Dec corn gained 22’4 this week to close at 536’2. Futures hit 563’6 on Wednesday, an incredible 82 cents higher than lows the previous Wednesday, before losing 27 cents to close out the week. Nov beans gained 31’0 to close at 1401’6, the highest weekly close for that contract since December 27th. Beans also made a new calendar high with Wednesday’s 1428’6 daily high eclipsed the January 3rd September spring wheat closed up 2’6 cents at 887’0, a negligible net change that obscured one of the most impactful weeks of the year.
